- Advise and support schools and educational institutions through renovation and extension projects.
- Develop clear, evidence-based design briefs informed by spatial analysis and user insights (staff and students).
- Translate pedagogical approaches into effective spatial design solutions, supporting more active and embodied learning environments.
- Produce drawings, spatial configurations, and furniture layouts, and advise on materials and finishes that are durable and fit for purpose.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, and project teams to ensure spatial needs are met.
- Every school is unique. Differences in pedagogy, culture, community context, and digital integration require tailored spatial solutions—not one-size-fits-all designs. We bridge the gap between education and design, ensuring that spaces are both pedagogically meaningful and functionally effective.
- School staff are rarely experienced in managing design and construction processes. Without the right guidance, projects can lead to unnecessary stress, delays, and costly rework. Our role is to simplify this process—reducing risk, saving time and resources, and ensuring spaces are intuitive, usable, and valued by their users.
- Poorly designed environments often result in frustration among staff, and student disruptive behaviour, leading to underused spaces that most of the time turn to become dumping storage areas. Environments that do not support teaching and learning go through adaptations that require further purchases, or construction works that are costly, and time consuming impacting lessons and curriculum.
- Facilitate embodied workshops and focus groups to understand spatial needs and lived experiences.
- Conduct data analysis and produce clear reports and design briefs outlining spatial requirements and pedagogical alignment.
- Develop design proposals, including spatial layouts, interior design solutions, furniture concepts, colour scheme, lighting, and wayfinding for both indoor and outdoor learning environments.
- Provide guidance on furniture, materials, and finishes to ensure functionality, durability, and long-term suitability.
- Liaise and coordinate with project teams to ensure the school’s spatial needs are met.
